On October 4, the United States Senate Federal Credit Union (USSFCU) joined hundreds of participants in Fishersville, VA in the annual Walk to End Alzheimer's fundraising walk. Not only did USSFCU volunteers walk, but the credit union sponsored the Kid's Zone for youth participants with face painting, yards games, fun giveaways, and information on youth financial education and savings.
Collectively, participants raised $76,396 towards the $80,000 goal, with USSFCU participants contributing $2,100 towards this cause. Funds support the Alzheimer's Association's fight to end Alzheimer's through research and treatment and support those afflicted and their caretakers.
