National Bring Your Kids to Work Day has once again returned to the Hart Senate Office Building and our USSFCU staff enthusiastically joined in on celebrating the festivities! This annual day is celebrated every year on the fourth Thursday of April and thousands of workplaces across the United States participate to encourage children to take an interest in future career and education possibilities.
This year we had a wonderful guest volunteer, Matthew, who wowed the visiting children with his displays of expert balloon twisting and tying, keeping up with the quick demand of new colorful pet balloon dogs. We additionally passed out piggy banks, coin purses, and educational coloring books to encourage our youth savers to start learning financial wellness skills early and often as well as goodie bags filled with some sweet treats and toys. Moms and Dads took away information on the benefits of USSFCU Membership and our $50 April Youth Savings promotion.
