A favorite annual tradition in holiday giving, United States Senate Federal Credit Union (USSFCU) employees volunteered their time to the Salvation Army's Angel Tree program. USSFCU joined with other volunteers and Salvation Army staff in distributing gifts donated by our community to the children (Angels) in need.
Every Christmas there are children who do not receive gifts because their families cannot afford the expense, but through the Angel Tree program, each Angel receives at least three toy items, a coat, and article of clothing.
Although the morning started off cold, we were quickly warmed by the good cheer and thankful spirits.
